Dr. Beth Cauntiz, DDS
Beth Caunitz, DDS, has a passion for helping people reach their optimal oral health through preventive dentistry, education, and the most innovative and natural therapies around. Her eco-friendly office is conveniently located in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, near Grand Central Station and Bryant Park.

Dr. Caunitz’s warmth and knowledge makes her your perfect partner to attain and maintain the health of your teeth, bones, gums, and other oral tissues. Her practice offers regular professional cleanings, exams, and X-rays, and a full array of dental services, including composite fillings, bridges, root canal treatment, and dental implant restorations.
For cosmetic dental improvements, Dr. Caunitz offers veneers, KöR® teeth whitening, and Invisalign® aligners. She’s a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, so she can treat sleep apnea, too.
A key member of the practice, expert periodontist Dr. Michael Chau handles oral surgery, including dental implants, wisdom-tooth extractions, and treatment for periodontitis. You can choose from local anesthesia or nitrous oxide for any of their procedures.

Dr. Caunitz has been in private practice in New York City since 1991. She is a proud member of the American Association of Women Dentists and the American Dental Association. She also belongs to the National Integrated Health Associates and the New York County Dental Society. She and her husband are Manhattan residents. They have two sons and a daughter.
Shirley Tam, RDH
Shirley graduated from College of Mount Saint Vincent in 2009 with a BA degree in Biology and Psychology.
She has been in the dental field for over seven years, first starting out as a dental assistant while completing her dental hygiene degree at Farmingdale state college.
Shirley joined the dental practice in March of 2016 and is truly thankful for having found a great team to work with every day.
She truly loves her work in dentistry and has a heart for every patient that she treats. She enjoys getting to know her patients individually to provide high-quality dental care. She especially feels accomplished when she can make people with previous negative memories of dentistry comfortable and happy. She is extremely devoted to educating patients on their individual needs.
Shirley loves to travel, dine out and values spending time with her friends and family.
Dr. Kristen Lee
Dr. Kristen Lee grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, and completed her dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Lee relocated to NYC where she continued her training in general dentistry through the General Practice Residency program at Columbia University Medical Center/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Lee is an active member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon- the National Dental Honor Society, the New York County Dental Society and American Dental Association. Dr. Lee is a compassionate, dedicated, ethical practitioner with a focus on treating the entire patient. She actively pursues opportunities for continuing education and training to stay at the forefront of dentistry today.
